We’re proud of a lot of things we’ve made and done at DANNIJO, but one of our greatest achievements to date, was getting our good friend ?uestlove, to wake up–when he’s usually winding down–and deejay our Spring/Summer 2013 Brunch at 9am. I think the most exciting thing about fashion week is the behind the scenes. For this season, we wanted to share our creative process and the making of our show with you so you knew how much Love really went into making DANNIJO, and our experiences. Peep the 72 hour time lapse and see some pretty faces (Brooklyn Decker, Monet Mazur, Leandra Medine, Caroline Issa, Kate Davidson Hudson, Lynn Yaeger, Olivier Zahm, Julie Gilhart, and more), the gifting of a gansta medallion to our boy Ahmir, and up close and personal glimpes of our Spring/Summer 2013 collection.

Dannijo Fall 2012 Lookbook Video

Peep the Dannijo Fall 2012 lookbook video for some visual inspiration

Jodie and I are always striving to create a fresh assortment that we’d want to wear. Most importantly, though, we want to craft a range that lends itself to many personalities. For our Fall/Winter 2012 Collection we were really inspired by the idea of celebrating sisters and dynamic women of all ages, even the youngins.

In our latest lookbook video we took the Bohemian-Deco collection and styled it in a range of ways to fit the many faces we featured: sisters Alexandra and Theodora Richards, DJ Kiss, Eniko Mihalik, Taylor Warren and friends Elaine and Ayla. I intentionally picked a song that you’ll want to add to your iPod, Codes and Keys, Yeasayer remix.
