Jodie and I scrambled at the last minute to make DANNIJO-infused Halloween get-ups. I’d been talking about Halloween for the past 2 weeks because it’s the most exciting holiday of the year (besides my birthday–which yes, I consider a holiday).  Jodie could care less but was remotely excited by default because I wouldn’t shut up about us needing to get costumes and since we live and work together she didn’t get much breathing room from Halloween-talk.

We of course waited until 6pm Friday night to make our costumes for a party that night.  I’m obsessed with Native American Indian culture and have always been largely influenced by tribal jewelry and garb.  We fortunately had enough random old clothing in our closets to cut up and fringe—which made for pretty good Native American Indian/Last of the Mohican get-ups.  I of course was the Chief, being that I was way more hard-core about the night than Jodie.  She none-the-less rose to the occasion and made for a damn good Poco.
