The pandemic has made the past year challenging for everyone, but independent businesses have had it particularly hard. That’s why we want to use International Women’s Day as an opportunity to champion fellow women-owned fashion, beauty and wellness brands.
The theme for 2021 is #choosetochallenge, a message that is all about exploring how to help forge a gender equal world. It calls on us to celebrate women's achievement, raise awareness against bias and take action for equality - today, and every day. It’s an approach to life that is at the heart of the #Dannijogirls sisterhood.

The revival of 80s swimwear brand Hunza was spearheaded by Brit designer Georgiana Huddart, who joined forces with original founder Peter Meadows in 2015. Designer Emily Adams Bode’s collections are made from vintage, recycled, and natural fabrics. Created by our very own Danielle, Boxerina is a feelgood ballet-meets-boxing-inspired workout. The original inspiration came from the concept for the Dannijo spring/summer 2014 fashion show, and the emphasis is on low-impact, toning movements utilizing the weight of the body.
